Makefast’s Hydraulic Rotary Actuator is a versatile, compact, highly finished operating system ideal for use in anchor handlers, bathing or swim platforms, and powered bimini systems.
Manufactured from highly polished 316 marine grade stainless steel, it is supplied with a compact hydraulic powerpack that can be hidden within the boat’s structure. These powerful units operate at the simple push of a button and are available in three sizes.

Applications
Bimini Hydraulic unit
- Perfect for effortless opening and closing of large bimini frames.
- Available in three sizes to suit 1 ¼”, 1 ½”, and 2” tube.
- Side mounted socket and inline yoke fitting available in all tube diameters.
- Range of mounting options and accompanying hardware available.
Bathing / swim platform unit
- Ideal for both aft bathing platforms and for smaller side swim doors.
- A locking solenoid pin is used to keep the platform or door secure in the vertical position when closed.
Anchor handler unit
- Anchor and bow-roller mechanism mounts below deck in the anchor locker and effortlessly extends beyond the bow at the touch of a button. The anchor handler can be integrated easily into a fully automated anchor system.
- The robust design can accommodate many different anchor types, the standard design is suitable for a 20KG Delta anchor.
- The anchor is retained with a manually applied locking pin for user-safety.
